Spicejet is one of the low cost airlines operating in India. Spicejet started its services in the month of May in year 2005. Within three years of launch of the service it became the second largest low cost airline in India. It was also voted the best low cost airline of South Asia/Central Asia in the year 2007. Head office of the Spicejet Airlines is located in Gurgaon (Haryana). The main of the Spicejet airlines is to target those passengers who are travelling in air condition in trains because fare of Spicejet is comparable with air condition fare of trains. Presently Spicejet flights are operating from 22 cities all across India and all these cities are well connected with each other as regular flights are operating between these cities. Spicejet is almost covering all the major cities and neighboring countries of Nepal and Sri Lanka. The major destinations covered by Spicejet are Delhi, Agartala, Nagpur, Bangalore, Goa, Hyderbad, Jammu, Jaipur, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Coimbatore, Srinagar, Kathmandu, Kochi, Madurai and Pune.

Presently fleet of Spicejet consists of 26 planes and looking at the customer response and passenger load order of another 49 planes has been placed by Spicejet and delivery of these planes will commence soon.

Booking

If you want to book your ticket with Spicejet then it is very you can do your booking online, by travel agent, by calling Spicejet 24 hour helpline Number 18001803333 or even visiting airport ticket counters or sales offices which are very conveniently located on all the major airports. After booking your ticket online and paying the amount by credit card, Debit Card or by internet banking you will get the booking reference (PNR Number) of your ticket on your email address provided during the booking, you can even collect your ticket from airport counter before your flight. But before your ticket it is always advisable that you must check all the offers and packages provided by Spicejet to its travelers as these offers and packages can give you much cheaper tickets then normal fares. There are some of the discounts for those who are travelling in a group of more than 10 passengers; therefore you can check the detail at groupdesk@spicejet.com and save more on your ticket. Discount of 50% on the base fare is given to Indian Armed Forces.

Flight Status

You can check the status of your flight by giving your departure/arrival, date of travel and flight number in the Flight status check bar. IATA Flight code of Specejet is SEJ/SG, Flight number is followed by this code to distinguish between other flight operators and their flights.

Online Check-In

You can check-in online within last 24 hours prior to your flight, this facility closes 4 hours before flight takes off. However there are certain terms and conditions for online check-in in Spicejet airlines which are enumerated below:

Infants, wheel chair passenger are not allowed web check in.
Web check-in is not allowed for connecting flights.
After you have checked-in, you can only cancel or modify your ticket upto 2 hours before departure of flight by visiting reservations office or calling at call centre on 1800 180 333
Guests who have checked-in Online can cancel or modify their booking up to 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure of flight by calling us on sales & reservation centre at 987180333 or 1800 180 333 only.
If you are flying from Jammu or Srinagar airports then no cabin baggage is allowed in any flight.
You must get your boarding pass stamped before proceeding to security check.
You must ensure that your ticket is original because Spicejet has full rights to cancel all the bookings or online check-in tickets if tickets are found to be purchased by fraud use of credit cards.
