In its fleet Indigo uses mainly Airbus aircrafts and its fleet mainly consists of Airbus A320. The Airbus A320 is a commercial aircraft and is perfectly suited for short and medium range journeys. As on date there are 42 Airbus A320 aircrafts in the fleet of Indigo and order of another 239 aircrafts has been approved for induction in the fleet.

Web Check-in and Flight status

Just to avoid the long queues on the airport you can use Indigo web check-in facility. Web check-in starts up to 2 days in advance and closes 2 hours before schedule departure of the flight. But this facility of web check-in is only available if you have only hand baggage with you and no check-in baggage. After doing web check-in you have to report to security atleast 30 minutes before flight departure and do not forget to carry your photo ID while reporting for security check.
